As part of the W-Series, the Sony VAIO VPCW12S1E/P is designed to be light, compact and very easy carry. It has a 'rounded' design and rugged styling to help protect it from day to day kncoks and bumps.
Sony boast as part of the W-series of laptops, they have wider keyspacing, as on smaller laptops such as this, hitting the right key can some times be difficult. This is handy for whern you're on the move, especially if you're trying to blog on a train or to dodge the kids as they're diving on the sofa!
As with a quality brand such as Sony, you can expect a great design as mentioned above, however one point here is battery life, Sony state that it has an estimated life 450 minutes, or 7.5 hours! With cheaper laptops, you'll see similar ball-park figures, however with Sony, you're likely actually to acheive this.
Remebering that is this what we would call a netbook, rather than a mini notebook, sporting a 10.1 inch screen, 1Gb of memory and a Atom 1.66GHz processor, this isn't going to be the power house of a desktop computer, however, if you love pink and Sony's version of pink 'berry' is one vibrant we've seen, want to surf the net almost anywhere, have the quality street-cred with Windows applications out of practicality (sorry Mac lovers) with an RRP of £399.99 and a web price no far from this, its an attractive proposition.
